On The Spot! - How your support helps us change lives

Dear Friends,

Barely a year after a deadly combination of earthquake and tsunami hit the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, communities in The Bahamas are still taking stock of the devastation caused by Hurricane Dorian. We are once again reminded of the fact that natural disasters disproportionately affect the poorest amongst us.

While we are quick to respond when disaster strikes, supporting vulnerable people to recover and respond to new hazards has never been more important at Malteser International. Four years on from our relief in Nepal following the devastating earthquake in 2015, you can be proud that the aid measures made possible by your support have so far helped thousands of people get back on the path to self-reliance and dignity.

Please continue to give us that support, so that we can keep meeting people at the point of their need, wherever they may be.

Yours truly,
Ingo Radtke
