Dear Friends,

Looking back on the year 2019, many events already seem like a distant memory. Still, we are thrilled to share our latest Annual Report with you, packed full of highlights from our achievements together in 2019, alongside insights on our work in inclusion and peacebuilding as well as stories from the inspiring people we work with globally.

While many of last year's challenges continue to preoccupy us today, the progress we have made threatens to be canceled out by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our statement on the plight of Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh

Video: Improving emergency services in Uganda

We have prioritized coronavirus response in our programs and are doing all in our power to protect the most vulnerable from infection, for example in Lebanon after last month's explosion or inside refugee settlements in Bangladesh, but also from the socioeconomic consequences of the pandemic. Our work has never been more critical, but we know we can always count on your support. Together, we can reverse recent trends and help bring light and hope to the people and places that need it most.

  Yours truly,
