Dear Friends,

For the fifth year in a row, wars, natural disasters, and persecution have driven global displacement to a new high: 70.8 million people are now on the run.

Developing countries shoulder a disproportionately large responsibility towards the refugee crisis. On World Refugee Day, we called for more assistance for these nations. Thanks to your support, our work continues to reach millions of displaced people and the communities providing them a safe haven.

In our Annual Report 2018 you will find information about our activities in the past year. While we’ve made important strides for the people we serve, there's still much work to be done. I invite you to review our recent results and continue to passionately support our shared mission – helping every human live in health and dignity.

Yours truly,

Ingo Radtke
Secretary General
