Malteser International is promoting access to quality maternal healthcare for expectant mothers in DR Congo, Colombia, Kenya, Thailand, and Tanzania. As you ready your Advent wreaths for the season, I invite you to light a candle of hope for the vulnerable women in these countries by supporting our Christmas Appeal.

Traditional birth attendants have played a key role for pregnant women within indigenous Wayuu communities in northern Colombia. By training them, Malteser International is helping to provide skilled care vulnerable women need to give birth safely.
