Dear Friends,
28-year-old Evaline (pictured above) had no idea she was carrying twins when she arrived at the maternity clinic set up by Malteser International inside the Mtendeli refugee camp in Tanzania. A timely examination revealed an abnormal fetal position of one of the twins, and an emergency cesarean was carried out successfully.
"Seeing my babies gives me an indescribable kind of joy," Evaline said. "The story could have been a different one."
